Does Google Have You on Overdrive? Expert Search Engine Optimization Advice.

As we all know there has been a lot of changes to Google within the past few months. While there has been some subtle ranking changes to some websites, there has been significant changes to others.

These changes are due to a recent change in Google's algorithm. This new algorithm is more of an advancement of its old algorithm and is more specific to long tail queries. Instead of the ability to rank specific pages, Google is now able to rank sentences and keyword strings much more accurately on the pages them-self!

This new algorithm does not change Google's ability to crawl websites, its more of a change in the way Google ranks the content on the websites. I must say that even with all this extra hard work I have noticed the results within Google to be more precise and much more effective.

Over the past several months I have been working to create extra pages for the sites that I manage. In the process I try to keep each page specific to the topic that the page is about. For some of the sites that I work with its been a total revamping of all their pages.

While you are doing your on-page optimization it is very important to try and not use keywords from your other pages, or at least try to stay away from using keyword strings that are very similar. You must keep the content on each page unique to the page that you are creating the content for.

Along with creating extra pages and trying to make each page unique of each other I am also adding all the social media bell's and whistles to the pages, such as Twitter and Facebook like buttons.

All this is a good thing! Google likes fresh content and favors sites that are updated regularly. Those that fix their problems first will reap the benefits before everyone else. So, get to work!

For many of my clients I have been installing blogs to their website's and adding several how to pages and video pages in the process. Google favors useful educational material that helps people. Educational content gets researched by the market that is most interested in that particular content, and ultimately that market will land directly on your website if you provide the content that they are researching!

Not only do these changes effect how Google ranks websites, it also appears to be ranking social media content a lot more. I have noticed YouTube videos' and other social media content ranking higher than websites!

These new changes are just the beginning. Just like the electronic industry, the future of internet technology is already here, it's just expensive and not widely used yet.

We are in the final steps of web 2.0. Web 3.0 is just around the corner. The time is now if you want to start learning web3.0, unless you want to be left in the dust when it arrives!

Stay tuned for my more information that I create about web3.0 in the coming months and don't forget to stop by and watch the video's at my website!
